NGOIndex is a new not-for-profit company that is looking at the accountability and transparency (A&T) of NGOs. We require a number of interns to undertake part-time home-based research (14 – 21 hours per week). The positions are unpaid but your work will be published and credited.
Requirements:
• You will need to be highly proficient at internet research, have your own computer at home and be able to check your emails regularly.
• Excellent Word, Excel and email skills are essential.
• We will also need to know that you have rigorous academic standards, excellent analysis skills and good communication skills, so we will only be considering applicants who have gained, or are likely to gain, a 2:1 or above in their undergraduate degree. Applicants with post-graduate degrees will be given preference.
• However, if you do not have these qualifications but think you can prove to us that you have the necessary skills and motivation, then please still apply.
• Applications from mature people are encouraged.
• Some prior knowledge of A&T issues within the International Development and Humanitarian Relief sector would be helpful.
• Native level English is essential.
