Applying

Applying for an English Language course with Advice For You couldn’t be easier. Remember that the majority of English language schools do not have any academic entry requirements so you really are free to choose the best option for you. It really is as easy as 1-2-3.

Step 1 – choose the type of course: The most important decision to make is choosing a course, particularly the type of course which will suit your needs. The next decision to make is at what level you want to study. You probably have an idea in more your mind already, but if you’re unsure, contact us and we will help you to assess your current English language level. Once you have decided on these two key points you can then begin your research into the type of school you’d like to study at and of course, where in the UK you’d like to live. If you’re still unsure of whereabouts in the UK would suit you, please see our living in the UK section.

Step 2 – find schools you like: Advice For You has an extensive database of English language courses covering all levels and with locations across UK. You can find a school on our website and find out about the courses if offers and some information about the local area. When you have found a school that you like, you can request further information from us at the click of a button. We recommend that you build up a substantial list of potential schools that you like and save this list on Advice For You so you can come back and compare them at any time you wish. Once you have discussed your interest with us we will work closely with you in order to carefully match the right schools to you with the intention of creating your personal shortlist of schools you’re like to study at.

Step 3 – let Advice For You do the work: The real work starts here, but for you, once you have decided which schools you’d like to apply to you can sit back and relax. There is no need to get stressed with application forms, collecting references or worrying about your spelling and handwriting. Many students find this the most daunting and challenging part of the process…many have even found their studies to be easy when compared with applying to a language course. With Advice For You, you simply enter the required application information in our Member’s Section and we will take care of the rest. Find out about the benefits of registering now.

And that’s it! We will manage all of the paperwork for you and keep you regularly updated, through our Member’s Section, on how your applications are progressing. You will also be introduced to your Personal Advisor who will be managing your applications and will work closely with you. You will be given all contact details, including a mobile number, for your Personal Advisor, so if you have any questions you really can ask an expert at any time. If we require any further information or documents from you during this process, we will contact in a professional and timely manner.

We will contact you once you have been accepted to your schools and will forward to you your letter(s) of acceptance. You will then be required to pay a small deposit to the school which will secure your place on the course. You will of course be provided with a receipt and a letter of confirmation from the school to confirm your place on the school. You’ll need this when applying for a UK student visa and you can find out more in our UK student visa section. Congratulations, you’re officially signed up to a course and can now make your plans for coming to the UK.
