Stanton School of English
Stanton School of English was found in 1973. The school is located in Queensway Street, near Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and the trendy Notting Hill Gate area. The district is exciting and cosmopolitan, with excellent transport links to every part of London. The building is 5 floors and has been designed as a language learning environment. Every class room is full of natural light and air- conditioned. The school also has very good facilities to help the students to study such as computers room with computer assisted language learning (CALL).
With “Direct Method”, students will be put into the situation that they can easily understand and make them talk about it in English. The teachers also use pictures, photographs, maps, diagrams, gestures, sounds, cassette tapes, and other teaching aids so that the students can always see the meaning of what they say.

Stanton School of English offers wide range of courses to students from General English from the very beginning level to the proficiency level as well as the private lessons to supplement the usual every day course. They also offer the exams preparation course such as Preliminary English Test (PET), First certificate, Advance Certificate, and Proficiency Certificate, IELTS etc.

Since 1979 Stanton School has been continuously accredited by the British Council, and the school is a member of English UK (formerly known as ARELS) and follows the Code of Practice of this Association.

Full use is made of audio-visual equipment, including video. The school has audio self-access facilities, as well as internet and e-mail facilities. There are both fixed and mobile video facilities. There is also the lounge area for students to sit down, chat with friends, or do some reading. There are full coffee machine, snack machine and photo copiers.

Stanton School is situated in Queensway Street. Queensway is a bustling cosmopolitan street in the Bayswater district of West London. It contains many restaurants (particularly Chinese, Arab and Mediterranean ones), pubs, letting agents, and high street stores. Stanton school is just the next door to the multi-storey Whiteleys Shopping Centre. The nearest underground stations are Bayswater and Queensway. The interesting attractions are Kensington Garden, Hyde Park, Mable Arch and Oxford Street just down the road.
