my tier 4 visa got rejected yesterday because one of the bank statements that i have presented has not been considered and I dont understand the reason at all. The statement goes like this:
“YOU SUBMITTED THE VISA APPLICATION ON 21/06/10. THE LAKSHMI VILAS BANK LETTER YOU HAVE SUBMITTED IS DATED 18/06/10. HOWEVER THIS FINANCIAL DOCUMENT DOES NOT SHOW THE FUNDS OF RS. xxxx THAT YOU HAVE PRESENTED HAVE BEEN HELD FOR REQUIRED 28 DAYS PERIOD (FROM THE DATE OF CLOSING BALANCE/DUE DATE) AND THEREFORE THESE FUNDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE IN ACCORDANCE TO THE PUBLISHED GUIDANCE”
I have that money for the past 6 months and it is not acceptable it seems. Please help as in what should be my course of action? Am I eligible for Administrative review?
I have submitted proof for more than what is required. Even if you not consider this, the rest of the amount is still more than what needs to be shown… please help guys

For Tier 4 Student Visas: Keep in mind that once they reach their quota for students for the year (Aug/Sept 2011), they will find a number of different/silly reasons to reject your visa. So, once you get a rejection, be skeptical about re-applying (especially fi you are applying just in time for your program) or even better – apply via a consultant that is specialized in Student applications to Colleges and Univs in the UK. I had applied for the UK student Tier 4 visa
.I had submitted the original Fixed Deposit(FD) along with a letter from the bank manager stating that i have the FD present.This letter also had the bank seal.However the letter was rejected stating it was not given on the bank letterhead. I really do believe i do have a case since i have got the letter with bank seal and the guidance for Tier 4 mentions “The financial institution’s name and logo” and does not explicitly say letterhead.Please let me know what can be done since i have the sufficient funds with me. Can anyone tell me how long will the Administrative review? because i have the college opening in september so will i have enough time for the AR or should i just go ahead and reapply

DEAR FRIEND
I want to expose my problem,i have applied under tier4
visa student,the longer of my study is 05 months and i have applied for a visa student visa , it was refused
because has calculated my claiming 10 points on the basis of 09 months and under this reason refused me
in spite of i have provided a certificate bank showing
the amount of more than 08 months living expenses.
i hope your advice, should i apply for and administration review or the eco was right in his decision, the eco did not give any contact for lodging the review examination,please can you give where i should lodge my administration review notice.

hey all xperts please i want to apply for mine visa from nepal.and mine CAS also recieved but i opened my bank acount few days before and mine amount in balance is 14 lakhs wich is required. so it should be 28 days old to get an balance certificate or can we make quick balance certificate which is 10 days old..?? what should i do?? my intake is in feb 21… pls reply.. m going to apply this week

Dear Babar,
First there would be no need for any sort of advice you have to lodge a new application.
It is usually helpful to submit fresh application unless you are sure about the evident careless mistake commit by visa officer.

Administrative review is risky. I suggest you draw up a fresh application and try to rectify the errs that were present in your previous application.

Also, do I need a new CAS statement from the University, or will the one I used for my rejected Visa app do?

You need to have a new CAS from your sponsor. you can confirm it from the policy guidelines under heading of
“What is valid confirmation of Acceptance for studies?”
The fee for new CAS is only 10 pound. Never fall for other amount as colleges or university usually are using this bate for extra income.

The CAS Number is valid for a period of 6 months so there is no question of your requesting for a new one.

If I provide my new statements can I get the Administrative Review or would I have to apply all over again (and pay that high fee they charge)
If I provide my new statements can I IMMEDIATELY apply again for my Tier 4 General Student Visa?

Dear Paven! I can be better able to comment on your state when I see your bank statement and this is improbable, yet I smell that your bank account has transactions in it, so the ECO has observed that your bank statement doesn’t fulfill the points for Finances in the published guidance.
Still there can be more reasons for the ECO’s observation. If you need further assistance, do ask. Bye

Pavan, you did not mentioned that Whether you have submmitted Bank Passbook or Statement covering Required Period or not?? If you submit Only Balace certificate it is not acceptable and Rejection is Justified
