I again got a refusal yesterday, this time they have mentioned the following reason:
“You have claimed 30 points for a valid certificate of Acceptance of Studies, which is required for all Tier 4 Sudents applying after 22nd Feb 2010. However, checks revealed the CAS number you have stated in your application (namely ) has already been used by you in a previous application (BOM/). According to the published guidance, it is required that you provide a new CAS for each PBS Tier 4 Application. You have not provided any evidence for a new CAS.
I am not therefore satisfied that you have a valid certificate of Acceptance for Studies and you have not been awarded any points for this requirement. You therefore do not meet the requirements to be granted entry clearance under Tier 4 (General) student and I refuse your application under paragraph 245ZV(b) of the Immigration Rules.”

I went through this link a multiple times still I have no where been able to come across the information or guidance that says that we cannot apply with the SAME CAS number if the course we are applying for remains the same as the CAS Number is valid for 6 months.
Yesterday I already sent an email to my college authority requesting to generate a new CAS Number for me at the earliest possible as the latest course start date is 26th July 2010 as per the CAS Letter.
I want some guidance from you so that next time I put a new application I should not again get a refusal for any such reasons! Please guide me that if I again put a new PBS Tier 4 (General) Student application for the course with main start date of 5th July and the extended start date of 25th July with a new CAS Number and a valid Bank Statement on the Letter Head of issuing Bank, will they accept it now?? I guess It will take from 5 to 10 days to get my new CAS Number, so is it ok to apply after the start date of my course has already passed?? Though the extended course date is 26th July as per the CAS Letter.
Also, what measures must I take in order to make sure that I dont get my application refused under such grounds again. Please do guide me properly with the best of the knowledge you can share with me in order to have my visa application file as strong as possible..
I have lost a good enough amount of money in my visa application, and even more importantly a good enough time frame as these days I am sitting at home jobless doing nothing just looking into these visa matters and all.. And just using up my savings to survive!
Please get back to me at the earliest possible… I request you to please please please please look into this at the earliest possible!

me and my wife has been recently refused of entry of clearance under PBS tier general student because according to the ECO we have not submitted an original bank certificate and statement. i the main applicant is filing for an administrative review but we were confused regarding the form they have sent to my wife as my dependent because it is right to appeal only and not administrative review. does my wife still need to make an appeal while i am filing for an administrative review? according to the ECO my wife has also been refused because i, the main applicant has been refused.

Please I would need to know what you all might think of this. I just applied for my pbs tier 4 visa in France. Actually I live in France but I’m not a national. I submitted All required evidences except the english language evidence. Reason is that on my CAS my sponsor clearly stated that I was interviwed in English and in brackets added “Applicant does not require an IELTS certificate”. So please, do you think I might be refused as I could fill in the English language section on the appendix 8. I’m doing a non English language course, but I claimed that I have the english requirement. Thank you

eco comments. u were refused entry clearance on 01/02/2007 (isb/1286546)for using deception by submitting a college extension letter purpotedly issued by lincon college but was vefifeid as not being geniune. i m therefore refused you entry clearance will also b automatically for the same reason under paragraph 320(7b) of the immigration rules untill 01-02-2017.further more as ur aplication has been refused under 320 (7b) it is also hereby refused under paragraph 245 zv(a) of the immigration rules.
a refusal under paragraph 320 7b of the immigration rules attracts is an automatic refusal period of up to 10 years.the periods of previous event in which the deception of submission of falsifieed documents or information was employed

dear i get refusal 3rd time.ist time my admission is not valid by my consultant .and i again apply with valid admission and good bandk statement.but refised to 57 (ii) and 57 (vii) and when i ghird time apply unde pbs tier 4.with all merit document and.but eco refused me 321 b and say u will not eligible for visa up to 10 yeras dur to your ist time application base on deception.if this will done by the eco.they were inform me n 2nd time when i applied.and 3rd time eco awarded me 30 points and 10 points maintenace.plz guide me what i m doing now.i expense 2 much finance in this type visa application.thanks my email mfarooq_edu@yahoo.com

Muhammad has hit the nail on the head. You cannot use the same CAS record twice.
Get a new CAS and apply again. Ensure that all your documents are dated correctly and fulfil the criteria.

Here is the exact text of migrat guidance document:
A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies cannot be used more than once. If a student’s Tier 4 application is refused, and he/she wishes to make another application, he/she will need to get a new Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies from his/her sponsor

According to the published guidance, it is required that you provide a new CAS for each PBS Tier 4 Application.
