I am going to apply for UK student visa. I need clarification on some issues. Please help me.
I am registered student of ACCA. I got admission in London for ACCA and college already issued me CAS letter. I am applying alone means my family will not got with me.
I am 36 years of age. I did 10+2(Non Med) in 1991 after that I took 2 years training in accounts from an accountant. Then i did 3 years computer course from an unrecognised computer institute. Then I did CNE(Certified Novell Engineer) from Novell, USA. Now for the past 13 years I am running computer training institute.
My doubts are as follows:
1. Is this study gap and my age a disadvantage for me to get visa?
2. Is IELTS compulsory for study visa?
3. I have maintenance funds in 2 saving bank accounts and 1 FD bank accounts. Can I show FD account as funds?
4. Last entry in my saving bank accounts is in the month of feb. Will this create a problem?
4. Will you please provide a sample copy of bank certificate letter to show funds.

im nuzry from sri lanka. i had applied for an uk visa but unfortunately they refused my document coz i hadnt kepping my bank balance more than 28 days.i have taken a student loan.but my consultant says there are no rules student loan should be 28 days in the bank.so i applied for an admin review.but im not sure weather i can get the visa.and some of my friends got the visa in the same student loan method without keeping 28 days in the bank.if they refuse my document again can i submit a fresh document to UKBA. or before i get the admin review result can i submit a fresh document to UKBA. pls reply me asap.

i have completed engineering degree in the year 2008 and have applied for masters program starting in 2011,i have got all the required documents,the only concern is that my i have sent the original set of engineering certificates to some other university by mistake,i only have the provisional and consolidated given to me after completing the studies.I need to know if iam able to apply for the visa with these certificates as i have very less time.

hii,
i ahve already applied to a university nd got my CAS number as well.but now my problem is that i have to show a total of 15500GBP..I HAVE 60% of money IN MY SAVINGS AC..ND REST i have it in my fixed deposit account…
1)can i also add up nd show fixed deposit as maintanence funds?
due to some lack of funds i had put some very small amount afterwards that is after a month…is it neccessary that i have to keep this all amount for 28 days again coz im running short of time….or i can appy now??

im about to apply for a visa under pbs tier 4.
im just confused on when can i apply for a visa? i have the maintenance fund required, but my last transaction in my passbook is july 27… i have heard of the 28-day period… when is the best date for me to get a certification from the bank and when can i possibly apply for a visa? any advise that you can give will be greatly appreciated… thank you so much…

i am tense from last few of days when i know that it is also important to show work experience,
i have done IELTS with 5.5 bands in march 2010.
my bank statement is also ok…
i had cleared 10+2 in 2002 then i did 2 years computer course from an unrecognized computer institute in 2004/05.
then after i have done job for 2 years but i have not submitted any working experience or any thing.
my question’s are…
1) how much my probabilities are to get visa?
2) not showing a job will effect in my visa?

Dear Sir,
1) I am paying my fees 8000 gbp of total 12190 now to brunel university west london, by my savings account via money transfer.
So for visa i need to show food and accommodation 5400 + remaining fees 4190 = 9590 GBP .
Can i show this money in form of FD (fixed deposit) of shamrao vithalrao co-opp bank, which is in name of my parents more than 28 days old, or is it compulsory to show the amount in saving accounts only?
2) I have provisional degree certificate with all semester & final semester mark-sheet, our university issues final certificate after 6 to 8 months.is Provisional Degree certificate is acceptable in uk visa tier-4 system?

Dear,sir i would like to Ask about uk student visa. my age is 34 year and i want to get an admission in Business Managemnet PGD programme . my last Education Graduation in Commerce in 2006. i did Ielts 5.5 but its Expire now. I have bank maintenance funds more then 3 months . what thing more i require for Complete my Case.

Thanks for your comments.
Under the points based system, your age should not be a factor. But in my experience, the British High Commission will most probably make extra efforts in checking your documents are genuine. They are likely to call and speak to you too, to discuss what you are studying, why and how it will benefit you and what you will do after your studies.
Your study gap shouldn’t matter but have you been working during the times you’ve not been studying?
It is advisable to have a recent, valid international English test certificate, so that you can demonstrate to both your college and the entry clearance officer that you have the required level of English. English that is only college-assessed is likely to attract more attention from the ECO. Your college will have a minimum English level requirement and remember that whatever documents you show to the college, they must enter them in your CAS record and you must submit them when you apply for your visa.
Remember to make sure that you run your bank account to fulfil the maintenance recruitments and get a certificate from your bank converting the closing balance to sterling and confirming that you have immediate access to the funds.

As far as your age is concerned i don’t think it will have any impact on the decision. Good colleges require IELTS. You will have to provide the bank statement of your account with the required funds kept for at least 28 days.

EXPERIENCE LETTERS, YOU WILL BE SAFE SIDE.

I dont think so that you would have any problem.
but you age is a bit high.
if you are able to give them a good and valuable proof of your age factor that where you had been working and what benefits you can get after the completion of the course there would be no problem in my idea..

1.Gap is no problem
2.5+ band ielts is almost compulsory for students,otherwise you may have an objection that college has not assessed your enlish language ability
3.I personally recomend that You have one bank account to avoid any confusion.Samples are there in every bank
4.You need to show fund 28 days before submission of visa application till you receive your passport back.
