London College of Business & Management- Bunch of thugs

I and many of my friends have been ruined by LONDON COLLEGE OF BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT, 628-632 LEYTONSTONE HIGH ROAD, LONDON E11 3 DA.

ME & MY ABOUT DOZEN FRIENDS HAD JOINED THIS RUSTY COLLEGE. THE COLLEGE HAS BEEN DOING NOTORIOUS THINGS FROM THE WORD GO. INITIALLY THEY DEMANDED GBP 5700 FOR MBA, 3700 TO BE PAID IN FIRST INSTALLMENT & THE BALANCE AMOUNT TO BE PAID AFTER A GAP OF ONE YEAR(MENTIONED IN THE VISA LETTER) ALL DONE, WE GOT THE VISA & ARRIVED. THE 57OO GBP FIGURE TURNED INTO 6700 GBP & FULL FEE WAS DEMANDED. 6 OF MY OTHER FRIENDS STILL HAVE APPLIED FOR THE VISA BUT HAVE BEEN ON HOLD. THE COLLEGE HAS LOST ITS LICENCE & IS SHUT NOW. OUR FUTURE IS AT STAKE SO IS THE FEE ALREADY PAID TO THEM BY HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS & 6 FRIENDS OF MINE WHO HAVE APPLIED FOR REFUNDS.

THESE PAKISTANI THUGS HAVE EVEN NOT SPARED OUR AGENTS. NONE OF THE AGENTS HAVE BEEN PAID THEIR COMMISSIONS- NO SINGLE PENNY EVER PAID.

PLEASE ADVISE WHAT TO DO?
ANY ONE AVAILABLE FOR EXPERT COMMENTS?

THANKS AND REGARDS,

ROCKY

  • according to my information, there is more than 500 students studying there and now all of them suffering from this as college is closed not giving refund to student.
They are also not refunding to student whose visa is refused.

I have many cases like this.

Only hope for that student is Daniel.

More the student will report more it will be helpful for us to register complaint. So unite all the student of college and take action.Otherwise u will lose your money.

    • I’m currently out of the UK Amrit, so can’t visit I’m afraid. i can when I’m back. Legal action will be the only route now, I’m sure. It would also be worth writing to the Home Office Minister, the UKBA and any relevant accrediting bodies.

Do you have copies of all your paperwork you can provide me? My email is daniel@adviceforyou.org.uk

  • Hi Daniel

I like your idea – the template is a great step forward.

Can you not also enlist the power of the Press, the Government and both ASIC and the BAC to look into the issue in an ACIVE manner? We need a groundswell of public opinion to:

    1. Address that which has happened.
    2. That which is now happening.
    3. Hard action against those crooks who are now starting again in other places … and those who have alreadfy started and are scamming again.
    4. We need a PEOPLES’ POWER revolution – just like the Orange Revolution in Europe. We now have a better government framework and the previous incompetents, having lined their pockets, have been dumped. Let us strike while the iron is still hot.

  • Dear Friends,
We are agents from India dealing with LCBM.They are also not responding us properly. Now we have taken legal action against them after combining approximate all the agents from north India dealing with this college.By combining all we have more then 300 students.
We have registered the complaint in London and given legal notices to the college authorities.Solicitor told us all the necessary step to follow.
If any other agent who are suffering from that college can contact us.Hope for the best,as the college authorities also have other business in UK.
Other student who is studying there can make the union and put the complaint together in metro police.
    Thanks and regards,
    Singh.

    • Hi Amrit

Things don’t look good with this college – their phone number is no longer in use and their website is an image, not a proper site.

I would higher lawyers ASAP to try to recover the fees you have paid.

  • May I suggest that if there is no action after what I initially suggested that you contact both ASIC and the BAC and write to the Home Office Minister – with documented evidence.

    Regards
    Bruce

    • Sounds advise, let’s get some templates going to make the process easier for everyone involved. The more complaints received, the more seriously the issue will be taken.

  • just report to metro police so that they can’t leave the country and take some student with you and heir a solicitor.Make a union of college student so that your expense like solicitor fees etc. will be divided. No other option.I don’t think so that college will come back to list as they closed it for 3 months app.

  • Report them to the police and to the UKBA.

Identify who the crooks were who are behind the scam – find out where thet live – and then have a demonstration outside their house.

Names are important – so make your report. They are often linked in a network of similar scams.
