I’ve got my visa appointment later this month. The VFS people in India said that it takes 30 working days to get a visa…My travel date is in early September and so I might not be able to make it if what they say is true.I might add that my full fees at the university has been paid. Will that hasten the process?

Hey same here re!!! I havent received my CAS yet n my course start date is 26th September and I dont knw how my agent is processing, i am suppossed to get my CAS on monday then when will I get the appointment??? Do u gus have idea how long it takes them to give us an appointment??? And how will I b able to attend the course from the start if they’llb this slow as u all have described…

I have appled as a student visa along vd a dependant as my husband on 27/04/11 . but till i hvnt heard anything from BHC. It is almost 2.5 months but no answer have came accept under process in vfs tracking system.

Same problem here guys. I applied on 19th August and still haven’t heard anything about my visa, except for the “visa is under process at BHC” from VFS. Is there any possibility that even after a month, my visa may be rejected. I have checked many times, and I don’t see any reason why my visa should be rejected. Why is it taking so much time? Is it because of the rush or are they more paranoid now than before?

Hi,
I am from bangladesh.I got cas from university uk.Buut maitainance is not clear to me.
My last transaction in bank 20/07/10.and withdraw certificate and statement on 23/08/10.
Am I eligible for tier 4 application.

From the day that u put the funds in the bank to show for maintenance(im assuming) to the date you took out your statement, it should be totally 28 days .. ! So in ur case I guess u can .. All the best !

there is no possible solution and no way to track the application besides the VFS tracker which has showed that the application is under process at British High Commission for a week now.
I am guessing, worst case scenario, even it takes 30 freakin days, i should get it around 5th sept and leave then

I have paid the fees in full too back when GBP was still 68. I don’t think it is helping to speed up things in any way though.
I filed my documents and visa on 6th Aug.
about what VFS told you-30 days, I don’t know that to be entirely or necessarily true cos 2-3 of my friends had received their visas in 3 days!!
but that was last year, this year is very different with the changed government and visa scam.
my course starts 13th Sept, but I would desperately like for it arrive by the end of this week so I can fly off 29th Aug.
