HI,I Applied for student visa on Jan 7 2010,Iam from Pakistan.Now its going more then a MONTH BUT I DIDN’T RECIVE ANY REPLY NOR I didn’t notified about my case process.I register my self for Grifton College of Managment science (London).My College was closed once on 19Jan under Tire4 Law.And it Re-open in GRADE A,on 8th Feb.
kindly will u inform me what going on.And whats the reason behind my case delay.

I have got admission in Univeristy of york in Msc Mathematical Finance. I have applied for visa on 20th july 2010, but havenot got yet any decision. My application is at BHC islamabad for decision since 3rd august. My documention and all formalities are complete acording to CAS. Program at York is going to be start for first of feb 2010. need your guidance

I am kanak deb.I came UK from BANGLADESH by the reference of a agent name WEN(WORLD EDUCATION NETWORK).My college name is UK HELP 4U ACADEMY OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE S:L:NUMBER:6R44JON13.when i went my college for enroll they didn’t enroll me they said that,they didn’t get my tuttion fees.But i have been paid £2000 by my agent.I ask my agent WEN (E1 BUSNESS CENTER,WHITE CHAPLE ROAD)about the tuttion fees but they are not interested to reply me.I went they are office again and again but they refused me.And thratted me for not going they are office and not ask about the money.This sitution is going on from last two manthes.Last time when i went my college.I saw thst my college name & campus has been changed but same sponsor lincance number same stuf,same authoriti,same students.I asked them about my enrollment but they refused me and said me different word that i am not they are student,they didn’t give me visa latter.In this situttion what can do.Please reply me.I am waiting for your kind reply.

i have applied my visa extension on jan 21st and gave my biometrics on feb 16th. But still didnt get any response from the UKBA. One of my friend applied 10 days later than me from the same university for extension that is university of east london. she got her visa on march 12th and am still waiting for my result. can any one help me pls…

Are you still waiting to hear the results of your application Mani? Perhaps they are checking your documents thoroughly.
If you’ve been waiting ages, you should consider complaining as you will get an answer in a strict time frame.

Given the suspension there is also likely to be a large backlog of visa applications for the Embassy to process. I’m sure you can appreciate that given the extra workload – plus the new applications that keep coming in for colleges that aren’t suspended – that this will result in delays.

I’m sure you mean Grafton College, not Grifton.
As all visa applications were put on hold while the college’s sponsor licence was suspended, there is probably quite a large backlog of applications for the authorities to get through.
I’d suggest you stay patient. Have you tried contacting the embassy for an idea of when they hope to make a decision on your application? You could also write them a letter asking for a quicker decision, if you have any mitigating circumstances that you feel would warrant such action.

I’ve applied to University of Teesside on 14th January and its almost been more than 45 days. University had 15th Feb as Latest joining date which means now I wont be able to join this intake.
May I know why is it being delayed.

All applications from Nepal have been subject to suspension following a massive rise in numbers. This happened in North India and Bangladesh too. The suspension has been lifted on applications from North India, but we’re waiting for confirmation on Nepal and Bangladesh. THis is probably why your application has been delayed for so long.
Have you contacted your university? What have they suggested to you? When have they deferred your entry to?

Yes I’ve been updating through my agents about any latest and they said now my intake would be deffered for the next intake that is september. I dont know what to do may be I’ll withdraw the application and apply for september intake as advised.

when the college is suspended! students applications are also left suspended unless and until the college get back the approved status of tier 4….in your case since your college was suspended your application was not being considered. since they have lifted the suspension your application would be considered from then. so it will take some more time. wait and see when.
