Update on Twin Training International’s Tier 4 Suspension

We are delighted to inform you that the suspension to our tier 4 license has been removed. We regret the temporary disruption and concern this may have caused, but trust this will reinforce our position as an organization, which is rightly trusted by UKBA.

Whilst the episode can now be considered closed – and only ever concerned students from certain parts of South Asia (the Indian subcontinent), it provides a timely reminder of increased sensitivity to concerns regarding potential evasion of UK immigration laws. We therefore take this opportunity to restate the key procedural parameters and assurances required for our students:

  • All students must have their intention to study checked by our agents. You must be certain that the student’s reasons for coming to the UK are for studying one of Twin’s courses. No other reason is acceptable and any students you have doubts about must not be referred to Twin.
  • All students must have their English language levels checked and proof of the level must be provided to Twin. Please do not just accept a student’s English language certificate. Ideally the student should have a face to face meeting with the agent where they have to speak in English.
  • An agent must inform Twin immediately that a student has received their visa and provide travel information as soon as the student has booked it.
  • Agents are expected to assist Twin during the students stay, including providing support should the student’s attendance drop below an acceptable level.

Recognising that our agent community is entirely compliant, we hope these reminders are nonetheless seen as helpful.

That said, we have emerged quickly from this episode with a clean bill of health. So we now look forward to your renewed efforts in recruiting your students to a newly inspected, high quality company operating with the stated confidence of the UK authorities.

    • Hi Sameer

I am not a spokesperson for the UKBA and I have never claimed to be. I work in the education industry and have chosen to help students like you caught up in the recent action taken by the Government and UKBA.

As your application was refused, you can get a refund from the college and then return home.
