I am increasingly alarmed that a number of these suspended colleges have closed for good. I would like the government to comment on what happened with their ill-funded gains and how the students will get compensation for this.
If the governments intention was to crack down on these bogus colleges which they have been aware of for years, then it was completely unjust to issue visas to such colleges knowing full well that they would close them down leaving students stranded. This is not the way of UK.
If you suspend and ultimately close down a institution then you should have the power to compensate the students by taking control of the college assets and leaving the bogus colleges with nothing.
Lets be honest and say that they have made their millions from people trafficking but they should be held accountable financially and not be allowed to walk off with their wallets full.

Hi Sapan
If I understand the situation correctly, you will have to make a new application as your previous one was refused. This means you will need a new Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies reference from your college. They will not be able to provide you with this because they are suspended. You will therefore not be able to make a new application until their suspension is resolved.
From 22 February 2010, original visa letters will be replaced with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies. This is an electronic record, updated and sent to the UK Border Agency, containing the same information the visa letter would, plus a record of your attendance.
From 3 March 2010, the minimum English level requirement for a UK student visa will be raised to CEFR Level B 1, which is IELTS 4.0.
Let me know any more questions you may have.
