Shall I get it from the Uni who is awarding me BSC Degree or the College where I was studying?

Is London Collage Of Enginering And Management which is in Woolwich,really going to be closed or? It is in suspension from 4 months?It is possible that this college sregain it’s license back again?What is the time period provided by the UKBA to the colage to regain it’s license back by proving collage as a trusted institute?Hope i can get the reply soon.Thnks

If you applied before 3 March 2010, it’s 20 hours. Otherwise, it’s 10 hours.

TASMAC UK Ltd. Tier 4 Licence suspension lifted 17 March 2010. It has been re-included on the Register with a B-rating.
The backlog of visa applications will be started on soon, but I imagine there will still be some delay.

Dear Daniel
I have completed my BSC from Oxford Brooks Uni. I want to apply for Tier 1(PSW) but from last couple of months my college is on suspesion ( where I was studying for my Degree). What shall I do coz my student visa is also getting finished.

I can’t see that there would be a problem if their Tier 4 licence has been suspended as they will not need to issue you with a CAS if you are switching to Tier 1. According to the UKBA you must send two recent passport photographs and your passport, along with proof of the following:
- original certificate of award;
- original letter from United Kingdom institution;
- maintenance (funds).

Thanks Daniel for your advice, this getting serious, Is this suspension going to affect my Visa? if so, what should I do then to rescue the status. Do i need to join another College which is on the list or should i wait until last point of the college status to be resolved, please advice me and the process to be taken. Also I would like to know the update of Renaissance International College.

The suspension won’t impact on your visa, unless you need to extend it in the coming months or your sponsor has their licence withdrawn permanently.
What you should do, in my opinion, depends on how long you have left of your visa – if you can afford to wait several months to learn the outcome of the suspension, then I would.
