came here to do an Automotive Engineering Course at University of Hertfordshire. I need to change my course due top two reasons. one, after went to classes, I find it very difficult to follow up with 2 subjects. Maths and Physics. I should have done A/L mathematics to carry on with this course. Which I have only my O/L. But there requirement was O/L. But its very advance and cannot follow those 2 subjects without it. At the same time, I have payed only for one semester. (3,400 pounds). and they have put a dead line for balance (3,400 pounds) latest on 14th April. And they are not allowing to pay in installments as well. I find it very difficult to pay that up front. At the same time there are other colleges where the course fees in only 3000-3500 pounds for an year. which is affordable.
And pls tell me about procedure for change of sponsor

Daniel can you please tell me when exactly TASMAC was inspected? As per college, they were inspected on 28th Jan, but my education agent says they were inspected on 17th Feb. Can you please tell me the exact date?

Well, they definitely weren’t inspected on the 28th of Jan, as on 15 February a member of staff from TASMAC informed us that they are yet to be visited by the UKBA. Several people have reported that the college was inspected on 17 February, so that seems plausible. They are refusing to release any information about the subject and their website still claims they are a Tier 4 A rated sponsor.

I think it was inspected 17 February as TASMAC UK Ltd. Tier 4 Licence suspension lifted 17 March 2010. It has been re-included on the Register with a B-rating.

hello daniel,
i have applied in london east bank college and from jan 21st the college disappears from the list,the college was inspected by ukba on mid of feb,and dey were asked to wait till 15th march to get a notice from ukba regarding there come bak or what ever from ukba.can you let me know what will happen if dey doesnt come back now,coz i want to ithdraw my pasport now.please do suggest something i have submitted my passport in vfs in decm 15 2009

In my opinion you’re better of waiting to learn the outcome of the suspension – I think we’ll hear something in three to six weeks. If the sponsor has their licence permanently withdrawn your application will be refused and you will need to re-apply with a new sponsor.

You can change sponsor under Tier 4. The procedure you need to follow depends on if you were given your student visa before or after 5 October 2009.

Do you know when their licence was suspended?
It can take schools and colleges anywhere from 3-6 weeks to several months to be inspected by the UK Border Agency, for a Sponsor Action Plan to be drafted if needed and to be re-included on the Register.
You should keep checking the master list of college suspensions to see when your colleges suspension is resolved.
Only the college and the UKBA will know for sure. After inspection, 32 days is set aside for correspondence, so it isn’t a quick process. Find out more on the timescales: what happens to my education provider if their licence is suspended?.

Can you help me !
Do you know any news when ALBION college license will be resolve, They have been inspected on the 10 Feb and still not on the list.
My visa expire the 30 March! The college still dont know how long this will take.
I was thinking of going to another college ! But 110 % collegesin London dont take any international students anymore.
God plse I pray that You help us students, I am having sleepless nights and Have not slept now for 4 weeks. I am dead tired.
Anyone advise me plse !

I understand the timescales are very tight for you. There are still a number of top quality colleges in London who can enrol international students, even this late into the programme – we work with a number of them. What are you studying, maybe I can help?

Daniel.. I enroled myself into s Health and Care Programme level 4.
Can you plse advise me-
My visa expire this month- 30 March. I have just found a college( St Patricks College which can offer me A BTEC HNC Health and Social Care/Management/ Care Practice).. I need to enrol ith them tommorow to get the CAS number.
But I have a major problem. This course only start the second week in May. So if my visa expire this month, Will I be in trouble staying and waiting for the new course to start the second week in May 2010.
I am willing to pay my life away ! I so want to finish my studies. I come from Namibia where poverty and crime is high and there is nothing for us anymore. Going back now if my visa will be declined is like a early death Sentence. !
It is so sad that I am such a genuine student and do all the right things, but have to go through this horrible situation !
I have no slept now for two weeks now.. This college suspension has given me migraines I cant stop thinking of this horrible situation. I even fainted on the train from the college yesterday..
God, I pray please hear my prayer and help me ! Amen
