Purpose of this Report
St Agnes college representatives have consulted with selected stakeholders in the private education sector with regard to the highly valued and appreciated Tier 4 rules and taken note of the UKBAs published intention to promulgate amendments.
In addition to our previous post, we would like to know why is it that during our first student visa application in Dec 2009, we were given 10 points for our funds and “0″ for the school.

Thanks for your reply. I do not agree with students who use “student visa” as an easy route for working purposes or other reasons.
I am also a long-standing teacher of IELTS to students and have given much throught to the current admission standard for English to gain student visa privilege.
Please remember that on Monday 22 February 2010 the final phase of Tier 4 of the Points Based System (PBS) will be implemented.
Students applying under tier 4 for UK after 22nd February 2010 will no longer be issued with an original visa letter but with a virtual document in a further shakeup to the UK Border Agency’s tier 4 (general) student visa system.
